How to
PostHog
Connect PostHog projects so your accomplice can answer product questions ("how many signups this week?"), and so chosen events, alerts or metric thresholds wake it.
Add a project
- Settings → Extensions → PostHog.
- Add a project: a Name (lowercase letters, digits,
-and_; fixed once saved), the Region, and the Project ID (the number in the project's URL,…posthog.com/project/<ID>). - Save changes, then paste a Personal API key for it (PostHog → Settings → Personal API keys).
What your accomplice may do
- Changes: lets it propose creating or editing insights, dashboards, feature flags, cohorts, surveys and experiments. Each change still asks you.
- Events to watch: event names that wake it when they occur (comma separated).
- Alerts to follow: PostHog alert IDs whose firing it is told about.
- Check every: how often to look.
Metric checks
A metric check is a HogQL query or a saved insight whose value wakes your accomplice when it crosses a threshold. Add one with Add check: a name, the source (HogQL or Insight), the query or insight ID (the first row and column is the value), Wake Alma when the value is below or above a threshold, and an interval.
Signals arrive in background triage, batched once a minute; Recent signals shows the latest.
Tools
PostHog is a large tool family: your accomplice loads it when a request needs it. See What your accomplice can do.
