How to
Memory and rules
Memory
Your accomplice saves lasting facts as memory notes: about you ("prefers mornings for deep work"), people ("Ana handles purchasing at Seafrigo") and your businesses. It recalls the most relevant ones in every conversation and searches the rest when needed.
- See it: ask "what do you remember about Ana?", or open Knowledge, where Alma's memory lists every note.
- Correct it: say "that's wrong, Ana moved to finance", or open the note in Knowledge and choose Correct it with Alma.
- Remove it: "forget that", or Forget this on the note in Knowledge.
Memory is stored in your Mandala, on your machine.
Coming soon — evening memory cards in the first weeks ("What I learned about you today", each with keep, fix or forget), and a memory policy in your accomplice's persona ("ask before remembering personal things").
Standing rules
Rules are instructions your accomplice follows in every conversation, on every channel.
- Add one by saying it: "from now on, always copy Ben on supplier emails", "never schedule calls before 10:00". Your accomplice saves it as a rule and says so.
- Manage them: Settings → Accomplice → Standing rules lists every rule with the date it was added. Edit, remove, or add one directly.
Write rules as you would for a new assistant: specific, and about what to do rather than what to think.
| Instead of | Write |
|---|---|
| "Be careful with money" | "Ask me before any payment over €500, even if payables are allowed." |
| "Don't bother me" | "Between 22:00 and 07:00, only notify me about deliveries and payments." |
Rules versus constitution versus memory
| Is | Changes when | |
|---|---|---|
| Constitution | Who your accomplice is and how it works | You edit it |
| Standing rule | An instruction it always follows | You say "from now on…" or edit the list |
| Memory | Facts it learned | It learns something, or you correct it |
