How to

Talking with your accomplice

The conversation

The first item in the sidebar opens your conversation with your accomplice: one continuous conversation that remembers everything said in it. Type and press Enter (Shift+Enter for a new line).

  • Suggestions: three chips above the composer propose what to say next, from your accomplice's last reply, the page you are on and the moment (an approval waiting, the time of day). Press one, or Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3. They hide while your accomplice works.
  • Attach pictures and files with +, by pasting, or from the iPhone share sheet. They are kept in your Library and your accomplice can open them.
  • Reply to a message to quote it in your next one.
  • Stop a long answer at any time.
  • Voice: when the composer is empty, the microphone records a voice message. Voice messages and calls

While it works, your accomplice says in one line what it is about to do ("Let me look at your mail and this week's calendar"), then answers with the result. Whatever it mentions from a tool (a thread, a document, a file) is a link you can open.

It knows what you have open

Your accomplice sees which page and item you have open in the app (a thread, a document, a record), so "summarise this" or "reply to her" needs no explanation. The composer shows Workspace context when this is on.

The accomplice panel on every page

On every other page, a panel lets you ask about what is in front of you ("Ask Alma about communications…"). It is the same conversation: what you ask there is remembered in the main one.

Ask about anything you can see

Hover anything (a chart point, a table row, a figure, a message, a mail thread, a passage of a document, a record, a task) and press Ask (or Alt+A; long-press on a phone; or select text). A small composer opens right there, quoting what you pointed at. Your accomplice answers in place, in a side discussion that stays attached to that spot, or in the chat: Ask in chat, Open as branch, or Merge into chat later.

Other channels

Your accomplice also answers on the channels you connect for yourself, such as your Telegram, and reaches you by notification when something needs you while the app is closed. Notifications

Tips

  • Ask for outcomes, not steps: "make sure Ana gets the price list by Friday" rather than "open mail".
  • Say what you want to happen next: "draft, don't send", "remind me Monday".
  • If an answer is wrong, say so plainly: it can save the correction to memory. Memory and rules
